Genuine Oral-B iO brush heads at $25 for a 4-pack works out to about $6.25 each — here's whether that's actually worth stocking up on.
What you're actually getting here
These are OEM Oral-B replacement heads specifically for the iO Series — the premium line with the oval-shaped oscillating head and the pressure sensor handle. The 'Ultimate Clean' variant is their all-rounder: a round-trip bristle pattern meant for everyday plaque removal without the specialized angle of the Whitening or Gentle Care options. At roughly $6.25 per head, you're getting close to a year's supply if you swap every three months as dentists suggest. That's a meaningful step down from the $8–10 each you'll often see these priced at individually.
The thing to check before you buy
These heads only fit the iO Series handles — the iO 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 series. They are not compatible with older Oral-B models like the Pro 1000 or Genius line, which use a different mount. If you're unsure which handle you have, check the flat oval shape of the brush neck; round heads mean you have an older model and these won't click in. If you do have an iO handle, this is a solid restocking buy — off-brand iO heads exist but the fit and bristle quality on generics tends to be noticeably worse than the real thing.
